Lowball Derby
If you’ve ever had the classic Kentucky cocktail, the Brown Derby cocktail, you may recognize some of the ingredients in this recipe. The Brown Derby is traditionally made of whisky, honey and grapefruit, served up. Here we’ve taken the basic building blocks and transformed it into a lowball cocktail, served on the rocks. The addition of orange juice softens up the bitterness of the grapefruit and a touch of Top Shelf Sweet Reaper brings a subtle sweetness and a touch of heat to the mix. If you want a boozier drink, you may also use this kit to make a classic Brown Derby, you have all the ingredients needed here.
