We are starting a climate movement in eastern Ontario's distilling industry.
Top Shelf is the first and only distillery in Canada to commit to Canada's Net Zero Challenge and reduce our impact on the environment.
By committing to Environment and Climate Change Canada's Net Zero Challenge and the Small and Medium-Sized Enterprise stream for the United Nations Race to Zero Campaign, Top Shelf Distillers is committing to reduce its greenhouse gas emissions through the following targets:
(1) By 2030, Top Shelf commits to reducing its on-site emissions by 50% of 2023 values.
(2) By 2050, Top Shelf commits to reaching net zero supply chain emissions.
In addition to these goals stated by the committed programs, Top Shelf is further striving to:
(1) Reach net zero on-site emissions by 2035.
(2) Reduce its supply chain emissions by 50% of 2023 values.
Top Shelf will endeavour to achieve these emissions goals before or by these set dates. We will broadcast our progress related to these goals in annual reports and periodical social media announcements.
