Apple Dipped
Reunion Butter Tart Moonshine has been a fan favourite from the moment it was released. Rich and decadent caramel and nutty flavours embody this delicious liquid. It is a welcomed addition in coffee cocktails as well as dairy cocktails. For this special recipe, we were inspired by the caramel apple you find at the carnival. We wanted to take inspiration from a favourite carnival treat, but elevate it for a flavour more akin to a refined cocktail and a little less sugar forward than an actual caramel dipped apple. A few dashes of Allspice Bitters highlight the apple and contrast the caramelized flavours of the Butter Tart Moonshine. A hint of citrus brightens the cocktail up and balances off some of its sweetness. Sure, butter tarts are an amazing dessert, but who knew they could also make for an amazing cocktail? - 1¼ oz Reunion Butter Tart Moonshine
- 1½ oz Lemon Juice
- 3 Dashes Top Shelf Allspice Bitters
- 2½ oz Apple Juice
GARNISH
- Dehydrated Apple Slice
GLASSWARE
- Coupe Glass
DIRECTIONS
Add all ingredients to a cocktail shaker filled with ice. Shake vigorously for 15 seconds until chilled. Strain into a chilled Coupe glass. Garnish with a dehydrated apple slice. Enjoy!
