Celebrate our first release from our co-op educational placement program, Top Shelf Bootcamp. Our summer semester students have produced, from concept to completion, a traditional Korean inspired Soju. Barry and Brenna spent their term with Top Shelf Distillers, and we are sharing with you the fruit of their efforts: Canada's first rice-based Soju.
We have updated the original recipe for a smoother, easier drinking taste with a more traditional 17% ABV.
You can expect a clean crisp neutral spirit with vibrant tropical flavours of dragon fruit, lychee, and passionfruit. Our mission at Top Shelf Distillers is to leave the world better than we found it and that includes inspiring the minds of tomorrow.

When you place an order from the Top Shelf Distillers online store you will be able to choose from different “shipping methods” at checkout. These include Local Delivery, Shipping, and Free Pickup
Local Delivery is for shipping addresses in Ottawa and area. You can enter the first three characters of your postal code at checkout to determine eligibility.
Shipping orders take 12-24 hours to process. When your order is on its way you will receive tracking information by email.
Pick Up orders take 30 minutes to be ready for pick up unless otherwise stated on specific product listings.

When Top Shelf announced their Soju, I was intrigued and felt the need to expand my alcoholized horizons. I wasn't disappointed. The Soju is definitively a new experience. With aromas of exotic fruits and a pleasant oily feeling, it has become one of my favorite palate cleanser. Now I just have to try it in cocktails before it all evaporates away...
