Reunion Moonshine 100 Proof has beautiful clean vegetal flavours, similar to those found in Cachaça, a unique spirit produced in Brazil. The national cocktail of Brazil is named the Caipirinha, a simple cocktail made of Cachaça, limes, and sugar. We’ve taken that influence and elevated it with a hefty dose of Sweet Reaper Bitters. This beautiful bitters, unique to Top Shelf, is a blend of exotic fruit flavours with the spicy kick of Carolina reaper peppers. Ginger beer adds a nice peppery profile to this creation making it a spicy citrus delight with just the right amount of complexity to keep your curious taste buds occupied.
- 1 ½ oz Reunion 100 Proof Moonshine
- 1 Full Lime, Cut Into Wedges
- 2 Teaspoons White Sugar
- 1 Teaspoon Top Shelf Sweet Reaper Bitters
- Ginger Beer
- Dehydrated Lime
Mason Jar or Collins Glass
In a mason jar, add 2 teaspoons of granulated white sugar. Cut a whole lime into 6-8 wedges and add them to the mason jar. Muddle the lime wedges with a muddler to extract the juices until the sugar has mostly dissolved. Add 1.5 oz 100 proof moonshine and a teaspoon of Sweet Reaper Bitters. Stir. Fill The mason jar with ice. Top with ginger beer. Garnish with a dehydrated lime wheel.
