This is a marriage of golden honey and bright lemon juice coexisting in a tall glass of ginger goodness. If you’ve been a busy little bee and looking for something to quench your thirst, this is the cocktail you’ve been looking for. This ginger forward glass of pure gold is sweetened with honey and accentuated with some very subtle floral notes with the use of Top Shelf’s Lavender Bitters. Although it packs a solid 2 oz of quality gin, this ever so smooth libation won't burn your taste buds. Multiply the recipe and whip up a pitcher sized batch for the whole hive to enjoy. You’ll have the whole colony buzzin’. Best enjoyed on a hot day or after a hard day of labour.
INGREDIENTS
- 2 oz Top Shelf Gin
- 3/4 oz Lemon Juice
- 3/4 oz Honey Syrup
- 4 Dashes Top Shelf Lavender Bitters
- Fever Tree Ginger Beer
GARNISH
- Dehydrated Lemon Wheel
GLASSWARE
- Collins Glass
DIRECTIONS
Add all ingredients except Fever Tree Ginger Beer and garnish into a cocktail shaker. Add ice and shake vigorously for 10 seconds. Strain into an ice filled Collins glass. Top with Fever Tree Ginger Beer and garnish with a dehydrated lemon wheel.
