Top Shelf Cares - Show Your Colours

May 17th is the International Day Against Homophobia, Transphobia & Biphobia. On this day, we launch SHOW YOUR COLOURS campaign! Help us spread joy, support our communities, and send love! We have carefully crafted a sticker collection for you to keep, share and wear with pride. You can get your free sticker sheet for yourself or to send to someone you love here. We've also put together an awesome Spotify pride playlist for you to enjoy. These artists were carefully curated featuring a blend of 2SLGBTQIA+ artists from Canada and across the globe. Let's proudly celebrate the diversity of one another today and always. #TopShelfCares #BeYourTopSelf #TopShelfPride2021

Top Shelf Cares was initiated by an internal need to highlight and articulate the positive moments that we share as a company, goodwill created in our community and charitable initiatives that we can offer support through awareness or funding resources. Our company was founded on the principle that it’s our responsibility to create change and be a force of good to our community, the people who live in it, businesses that flourish there and to find sustainable ways to support the environment.

How are we doing this?

Since our inception in 2014, we have channeled our marketing resources into communities across Ontario by actively seeking and supporting fundraising events, charitable organizations, small businesses and community initiatives that align with our core values. Offering our products and passionate company members to help raise awareness and funding for their cause was the initial focus, but what flourished was the creation of lasting relationships, strengthened partnerships and memorable experiences for the organizations, the participants and for our team members on the ground. This has been the profound fuel that gives us momentum to keep growing.2020, the model needed to change. As we were no longer able to actively go into our surrounding communities to be engaged and offer support, we needed to look to our internal resources and core beliefs and find new ways to do good and stay afloat. We started an e-commerce platform with live customer support, a local delivery service in 4 regions, curated offerings that purchased local goods from other businesses in large quantities, we increased our workforce, we produced & donated Hand Sanitizer and above all, we stayed positive. We were now able to reach even more people directly in this time of crisis, uncertainty and isolation than we could by driving across the province.

For 2021, we wanted to find new ways to merge our new innovative growth and our passion to support our core partners and community fundraising organizations directly again. With Top Shelf Cares, we have a platform to showcase local movements, moments of good, benevolent events and charitable organizations monthly. Using our new skills and resources from 2020 to support them.
