What is the Lanark County Interval House (LCIH) ?

For over 40 years LCIH has provided safe shelter and resources for women, children and victims of sexual assault. The COVID-19 pandemic has isolated individuals and caused an increase in abuse, depression, anxiety, irritability and substance abuse. LCIH has seen an increase in women and families in need of their services since the pandemic began. Clients of LCIH sometimes have only the clothes on their back. Having a new set of pyjamas and a PPE kit can make a big difference right now to someone in need.
