Q: What is the cost to join the TS Taster's Club
A: Join the Top Shelf Taster's Club for $49.95 a month with the flexibility to pause, skip, or cancel at anytime by logging into your account. Need a little extra help? No problem, our customer service team would love to help, just click the chat bubble!
Q: How does payment work for the subscription?
A: Your initial payment will be taken the day you join the club at checkout. After that sit back and relax, your recurring payments will be taken on the same day each month going forward.
Example: checkout January 25, your next payment will be automatically taken on February 25.
Q: When will I receive my first box?
A: Shipments go out within ten days of your initial purchase, and within ten days of all recurring payments.
Example: checkout January 25, will be shipped on or before February 4.
Q: Will I need bar tools to start the subscription service?
A: Bar tools will always make cocktailing easier, but not necessary to create these cocktails as many of the tools you likely already have in your kitchen will get the job done. - Shaker -> mason jar with lid or gym shaker
- Bar spoon -> chopstick or bread knife
- Strainer -> mason jar & lid with gap to let the liquid flow through OR tea strainer
- Mixing glass -> large water glass
Q: What all is included in the subscription box each month?
A: Each month you will receive the Top Shelf Times Newsletter with all the insider details about what’s new at the distillery, in our community, as well as which charity we are supporting that month; a bottle of the base spirit used in your selected box (gin/vodka -> 375ml or whisky/moonshine ->200ml); a 15ml bottle of Top Shelf bitters, mix; garnish; local goodies; as well as the heart-warming feeling of doing a good deed as 6% of the proceeds from our Cocktail Club goes to the charity of the month.
Q: Why should I become a member?
A: Besides all the cool goodies and tasty beverages you will create, you will also be the first to hear of new product launches, sales, discount codes, as well as free shipping as long as your subscription remains active.
Q: How does the TS Taster's Club differ from your TS Guide to Cocktailing?
A: TS Guide to Cocktailing Subscription Service is an educational and lifestyle based subscription. We teach you bartending basics from the ground up, while helping you build out your at-home bar by including tools and Top Shelf products. Our TS Tasters Club is simply a subscription service that takes any guesswork out of cocktailing. Each month we will send you all of the non-perishable ingredients necessary to create four portions of an extraordinary mixologist quality cocktail straight to your door.
Q: How long will the ingredients in my subscription box keep?
A: We include only non-perishable items in your kit to avoid any spoiling.
Q: How much is shipping?
A: You’re a member now, members don’t pay shipping!
Q: How do I cancel my subscription?
A: You can do this anytime and easily! Just go to your Top Shelf account and select “Manage My Subscription” just below “Account Details''. From there you can select pause/resume, skip, or cancel. This allows you to have the option to pause, cancel, or choose your subscription frequency.
Prepaid subscriptions (3, 6 and 12 months prepaid) can be paused / months can be skipped but are not eligible for refund after the first box has shipped.
Q: Can I order past boxes?
A: Unfortunately, our boxes are different month to month, but if you particularly enjoyed a specific box, reach out to us and let us know which one! These boxes may become live on the website in the future.
Q: What if my box is missing items or something is damaged?
A: No problem! You can email us or choose the chat option on our website and our customer service family will sort this out for you!
Q: How does gifting a box work?
A: We love that you want to send a special somebody the gift of tasty cocktails! You can choose either a monthly subscription and pause or cancel after your desired number of months gifted or send an email to contact@topshelfdistillers.com and indicate the number of months you would like to gift the box, and the date that you would like your giftee to receive the news! An invoice will be sent to you for the number of months indicated in your email. Also a custom gift email will be sent to your giftee on the date provided.
