Chai Syrup Recipe

Spice up your life, and your cocktails, with this easy to make Chai tea syrup. Chai is generally made with a blend of Cardamom, Cinnamon and cloves and can contain many more delicious spices. You would be surprised at how delicious this syrup is in a cocktail. One of our favourite combinations is Chai and cherry flavours. Dark berries and fruits are complimented by the complexity of the chai tea. Also amazing with whiskey and coffee! Give this easy recipe a try and let us know what you like to use it on. Espresso martini? Waffles? French toast? Ice cream? SOOO GOOD!
 

 Ingredients: 

  • 1 Cup Water
  • 1 Cup Sugar
  • 4 Chai Tea Bags

Instructions: 

Bring the water to a simmer. Add the sugar and stir until it is dissolved. Add the 4 chai tea bags. Turn off the heat of the stovetop. Let tea steep for 15 minutes. Remove tea bags and transfer to glass a bottle or jar. Let cool to room temperature. Seal and refrigerate. Keeps for 2 weeks.
