Basil Instinct takes a fun direction incorporating some sweet and spicy elements found in Top Shelf’s Sweet Reaper Bitters, giving a bit of heat as the blueberry flavour lingers on after a sip. A touch of pepperiness comes to life through the use of some basil leaves, adding a hint of herbaceous mystery to this otherwise sweet, berry-forward libation. INGREDIENTS:

• 1 ½ oz Reunion Blueberry Moonshine
• ½ oz Simple Syrup
• Juice of Half a Lime
• 2.5 oz Lemonade
• 4 Dashes Sweet Reaper Bitters
• 2 Large Basil leaves

GARNISH:

• Dehydrated Lemon
• Basil Leaf

GLASSWARE:

Coupe Glass

DIRECTIONS:

In a cocktail shaker filled with ice, add all the ingredients except the garnish. Shake vigorously for 20 seconds and double strain into a Coupe glass. Garnish with a dehydrated lemon wheel and a basil leaf.
